Traveling together? We’ll handle the moving pieces.

From spring break family getaways to company recognition trips and multi-generational vacations, TBD Vacations helps curate group travel start to finish — so you can enjoy the people you brought.

Let’s Plan Your Group Escape

We help you plan group travel.

When more than one household — or a whole team — is traveling, the details multiply fast: rooms, flights, deposits, timelines, and a dozen group texts.

TBD Vacations helps curate the plans from beginning to end, including airfare, resorts or ships, transfers, and even excursions — taking the stress off day-to-day planning so your trip runs as smoothly as possible.

Tell us a little about the group you have in mind, and we’ll reply with next-step options.

High School Spring Break — planned for families, not chaos

Spring break with teens (and the families traveling with them) should feel like a vacation — not a second job. Whether you’re looking at a beach resort week, an adventure destination like Costa Rica, or another spot that fits your group, we help line up the pieces so parents aren’t juggling twenty separate bookings.

We focus on coordination: who is traveling, how many rooms, flight timing, transfers, and the excursions or downtime your group actually wants. You stay the host of the experience; we stay the quiet planner behind it.

What this often looks like

  • Several related families traveling the same week
  • Mix of parents, teens, and sometimes younger siblings
  • Shared resort or destination base with options for together-time and free time
  • Deposits and name lists that need a clear timeline

How TBD helps

  • Match destination and property style to your group’s age mix and vibe
  • Coordinate room blocks / multi-room setups and group-friendly suppliers when they fit
  • Arrange airfare guidance, transfers, and excursions
  • Keep communication simple for the parent who’s organizing

Best for: Parents coordinating a high school spring break with other families; groups that want structure without a “hosted tour.”

Business & company trips that reward people — not spreadsheets

A recognition trip, performance reward, or small company getaway should feel special for the people who earned it. TBD Vacations helps small-to-medium groups plan company travel with the same care we give family groups: the right destination, the right rooms, and the logistics handled so your team can focus on the reason they came.

What this often looks like

  • Recognition or incentive trips for top performers
  • Small-to-medium company retreats or celebration getaways
  • Leadership and planning getaways that need clean logistics
  • Shared dinners, free time, and optional group activities

How TBD helps

  • Destination and property recommendations suited to your group size and tone
  • Room coordination and supplier group terms when they apply
  • Airfare, transfers, and excursion options
  • One point of contact for the organizer on your side

Best for: Owners and managers who want a polished thank-you trip; teams planning a reward getaway; leadership groups that need travel coordination without drama.

Multi-generational family walking hand-in-hand along a sunny tropical beach

Multi-generational trips — everyone together, thoughtfully

Bringing grandparents, parents, and kids on the same trip is one of the best things a family can do — and one of the easiest to overcomplicate. We help design multi-generational vacations where the rooms make sense, the pace isn’t exhausting, and there’s room for both shared memories and quiet downtime.

That might be a cruise where different ages can peel off for the day and reconvene at dinner, an all-inclusive with space for little ones and grandparents, or a land trip built around a family milestone. You tell us who’s coming and what matters; we curate the path.

What this often looks like

  • Two or more households across generations
  • Mixed mobility, bedtimes, and activity levels
  • A milestone (anniversary, reunion, “bucket list”) as the reason to go
  • Cruise, all-inclusive, or land itineraries

How TBD helps

  • Choose destinations and room categories that keep the family close
  • Balance group activities with free time
  • Coordinate flights, transfers, and excursions for the whole party
  • Take the planning load off the family member who usually “just handles it”

Best for: Families reuniting across generations; anniversary or reunion trips; anyone who wants one plan instead of a tangle of individual bookings.

FAQ

Is there an advantage to working with TBD Vacations?

Absolutely. TBD Vacations is a small Michigan-based travel business, which means you get personal attention and a relationship with your travel advisor. We work closely with you and our trusted travel partners to create a vacation that fits the way you want to travel.

At the same time, we’re part of KHM Travel Group, a larger travel network that gives us access to a wide range of travel suppliers, resorts, cruise lines, and destinations around the world. You get the personal service of a small business with the resources and connections of a larger travel network.

Why work with TBD Vacations?

We take the time to understand how you like to travel before recommending where to go and how to get there. From the first ideas to the details along the way, we help you compare options, work with trusted travel partners, and put together a trip that feels like the right fit.

How large does a group need to be?

It varies by destination, supplier, and type of trip. Generally, group travel starts around 6–10 rooms or cabins, although some destinations and cruise lines have different requirements. If you’re traveling with a group, let’s talk — we can help determine the best way to organize it.

Can you help with flights as well as hotels for cruises?

Yes. We can help coordinate airfare, resorts or cruise ships, transfers, excursions, and other trip details so everything works together. Depending on the trip, we may also recommend booking certain pieces separately when that makes the most sense.

We’re still deciding between a few destinations — is that OK?

Absolutely. You don’t need to have it all figured out before you reach out. Tell us what you’re dreaming about, what matters most to you, and what you’re trying to avoid. We’ll help narrow down the options and find a direction that makes sense.

Does TBD Vacations book VRBOs or Airbnbs?

We do not book VRBO or Airbnb properties. However, we do have access to unique villas and private vacation homes around the world through our travel partners.

If you’re looking for a private home or villa for your next trip, reach out! We’d be happy to explore options that may be a good fit.

Is there a planning fee?

For most trips and cruises, there is no separate planning fee. Our time and expertise are part of the service we provide, and we genuinely enjoy getting to know our clients and helping bring their travel plans to life. We also appreciate clients who recognize the time and care that goes into researching and planning a trip.

We’re compensated by the travel partners we book with after your trip is completed, so you receive personalized travel planning and support without an additional planning fee. In the occasional situation where a service involves an upfront fee, we’ll always let you know before moving forward.
